Blood pressure monitor for accurate readings at home
Withings is a French brand of healthcare products that were acquired by Nokia. Known for their quality and ease of use we decided to try their Blood Pressure monitor.
Working with the native health apps on most operating systems, the data is aggregated with other sources such as your smart watches, sleep monitors, food tracking apps and more. It’s so clear and easy to use that it is worth exploring their range of scales, smart watches, sleep monitors and even a thermometer.
Setup
Incredibly easy and connects to your Wi-Fi as well as phone. A few quick firmware updates and you are good to go.
Battery
After a month of use at least once a day, there is still 85% left in the battery! This is incredible and means you can easily go 6 months without charging
App
Very clean and logical layout that works well. Smooth in its execution and with the device needing to only connect via Wi-Fi you only need to open the app when you want to.
Accuracy
The readings so far have been pretty close to a professional machine in a hospital. We tried it within 30 minutes of a clinical test and the result came in very close.
