It has been said (we are not sure by whom) that the ‘best things in life are free’ and Kite Beach is a true statement to this. If you want to have some food, play volley ball, hire a sunbed or much more this is all available.

Sights along the way

Starting at the Burj Al Arab end there is viewing platform which serves well for photos. And as you pass the various small marinas, beaches, food trucks and sport courts you will also see the city skyline and some wonderful beachfront properties. At the top near the Business Bay canal you can take in a breathtaking view of Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa.

Not just walking

The long walking path is split into a firmer boardwalk and softer run track. And now has the recent addition of a cycle track which extends beyond the beach and towards the palm at the West end and towards Downtown, Meydan and Business Bay at the East.

Sunrise, Sunset and everything in between

We really enjoy this walk either at sunrise or sunset. In the evenings the area comes alive (especially around the food and sports area). And in the hotter parts of the Summer the nightime becomes truly special with the night swimming beaches too.
