Feel food romcom movie
Groundhog day style movies are really a lot of fun. There have been some great twists on this and the most enjoyable recently has been Palm Springs featuring Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine Nine), Cristin Milioti and J.K. Simmons who all make this a thoroughly delightful way to spend a couple of hours enjoying some popcorn and an evening in on the couch.
Casting
Every single person and animal in this film is perfect for the roles they play. All play out their parts in this story well and reveal their true characters as the film developes.
Plot
Its original. And funny. Even the science is easy to follow. Like with other films in this genre the story gradually unravels and becomes clear. This one just keeps getting more interesting and delightful.
Visuals
Colorfully striking! The cinematography is truly excellent and really gets a ‘desert retreat’ feel.
Ending
Timed to perfection and sticks really well to the narrative.
