Boeing 777 from Zurich to Miami
From Heathrow to Miami via Zurich gave the chance to experience the European short-haul version (Airbus A220) and their long hall Boeing 777.
Having tried Swiss there is a lot good here that goes beyond the business class product. The whole company is fascinating and has some rich people principles and approaches to working with suppliers and passengers in a way which ties it all together nicely. Regardless of which class you are flying, Swiss will do it well.
Clean
The very first thing to notice is just how clean and well maintained the cabins are. Immaculate!
Service
Getting the balance right in being attentive and giving the passenger space is something the crew do very well. Really well in fact. Food and drinks appear quickly and the staff are always pleasant
Space
The Swiss business seat is wide with plenty of storage and reclines to a very comfortable bed. What was particularly nice is the generous width which for those around the shoulders is really noticeable.
Airport Experience
The lounges at both Heathrow and Zurich we equally roomy, clean and with a great range of food and snacks. Check-in was quick and bags were in the first batch to arrive at Miami.
