2022 Film
The occasional trend of time loop films started with GroundHog day and with some recent additions with Edge of Tomorrow, Palm Springs and now a very different and romantic approach in Meet Cute.
Meet Cute is one of those films that entertains nicely and has a number of different concepts. There are subtle plays on understanding emotions, love, pragmatic approaches to life and a lot more. It tackles the topics of mental health and suicide in an appropriate way. These are tough things to challenge and present in a way that sensitively tackles the reasons why and in many ways shows that others may have these thoughts and feelings too and encourage the viewer to not feel as alone or without hope.
Kaley Cuoco
We all know and love Kaley for the energy she had in Big Bang Theory which is transferred elegantly here.
Dark comedy romance
Wickedly dark and funny at times and a true romance blossoming in the most delightfully unusual of ways
Storyline
Emotionally driven and easy to follow. This is a light and easy to watch film that has a narrative which resonates even with those of us who don’t have a time travelling sunbed (watch the film to find out more on this)
NYC classic
Arguably one of the greatest setting for TV and Films, the use of New York City feels perfect for this grittier than normal performance
