Flying the worlds largest fleets of Boeing 777’s and Airbus A380’s, Emirates is known for being the Middle East’s premier carrier which has become known for its exceptional quality. The A380 business class stands out as something done really well.
One great feature is what is known within the airline as ‘the sweetheart seats’ which are the centre two in each alternative row. These are great for couples wanting to travel together and perfect if you are on your honeymoon.
We have been flying with Emirates for a very long time and have plenty of experience with their business class product. Its well thought out and have excellent crew to look after you. If you are ever considering options and have the choice to take the upper deck on the Emirates A380 then you will be sure to find it is done really well.
Space
These seats are large and very comfortable. Especially when made into the full bed with the mattress. Each has plenty of room and even its own bar.
Lounges
The Emirates lounges are simply incredible. Always serving great local food and drinks with a healthy dash of Emirati flavours. The wine list is stunning and no matter where you are in the lounge its always very comfortable. The showers are pretty good too.
On board bar
One thing that really stands out about the A380 is its size. It is the largest passenger jet on the planet with two decks. Located on the upper deck is the infamous bar where you can get a drink, watch live sport on the big screen, sit with colleagues and discuss work or simply meet other passengers.
Entertainment
Emirates has continually won awards for its entertainment offering which is extensive and quite remarkable in its variety. Known as ICE for Information (the moving maps are great), Communication (onboard Wi-Fi) and Entertainment (movies, shows, music and podcasts). There are some great interviews with interesting Dubai businesses and residents. And our personal favourite . . . The external cameras which are great fun to watch.
