Individual business class cabins
British Airways pioneered with their flat bed business class seats many years ago and have had several iterations of the product since. The yin-yan style seating was introduced at some point in the mid-noughties and updated a few years later. And now . . . we have the latest iteration which is a marvel!
Featured on many of the newer long-haul aircraft and gradually appearing across more of the fleet. We have experienced it on their 787-10 aircraft and know this is installed on their A350 fleet too. If you are on a route with these particular aircraft then there is a good chance you will enjoy it too.
Privacy
These seats all have their own private door and direct access to the aisle. Being in your own small cabin is great and for overnight flights really does feel cosy.
Space
A remarkable step up and a lot more space than we have experienced in previous iterations. The seat does turn into a bed and is also notably wider. Really comfortable and British Airways best on-board business class product yet.
Massive screen
Well a massive screen and space to work too. And with British Airways having an agreement with HBO the entertainment selection is really quite extensive.
Storage
So along with the overhead storage there are plenty of spaces to store your shoes, phones, knick-nacks or whatever it is you keep near your seat during a flight. There is even wireless charging for your device built right into the seat.
