Souk Madinat, Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
A little slice of Europe awaits in this Arabic Souk which remains one of the most popular spots for visitors in Dubai.
On New Year’s Day 2022 when one of the rare rainy days where the air was fresh and the temperatures cooler was the ideal setting for a lunch to start the annum well. We sat outside under the parasols enjoying the sound of the rain and found it to be a perfect way to enjoy a catch up over some great food and beers.
The Belgium Beer Café is one of those places where you quickly slide into the atmosphere and feel relaxed. The conversation just flows, the hours slip by and memories are made. It’s hard to really put your finger on why this venue is done really well, although we didn’t over think it and just enjoy the time spent there.
Range of beers
As the name suggests, there is a range of Belgium (and other) beers which are well kept and served in their branded and chilled glasses.
Mains and snacks
Steak frites and so much more. Good healthy Euro-pub cuisine that is well balanced and the perfect accompaniment for those frosty beers.
Puddings
Profiteroles! Just try them . . . You will be as delighted as we are.
Location
Souk Madinat has the iconic Burj Al Arab nearby and is set amongst leafy trees and a series of turquoise rivers. There is a lot to do nearby and only a short walk from Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the (opening 2023) Marsa Al Arab.
